Pre-School:
Jabari Tries

What you will need:
- Hi Vis vest
- Yellow Helmet
- Own Clothes
- Boots/trainers

The Jolly Postman
Janet and Allan Ahlberg’s ‘The Jolly Postman’ is a wonderful classic, exhibiting kindness and gratitude throughout.
What you will need:
- Blue outfit with jacket and yellow top
- Bookbag
- Envelope
- Optional: blue hat
Year 1:
Supertato
Supertato is a series of books and a TV show about a potato superhero who protects vegetables from the Evil Pea. The stories are full of action, humor, and a message about kindness.
What you will need:
- Supertato costume from amazon or elsewhere
- Cardboard cutout of potato to attach to costume
Year 2:
How to Catch a Star
How to Catch a Star by popular author-illustrator Oliver Jeffers is about a little boy who wants a star of his own and goes on a quest to find one. Star-catching is not as easy as he first thought – he tries climbing a tree, finds a lasso, jumps super high and even asks the bird to help him.
Things you will need:
- Cardboard (cut out the shape of a rocket and cut out some straps and glue/tape to the back so it can act as a backpack, also cut out the shape of a star for your child to hold)
- Paint (paint the rocket and the star to however you like and let dry fully)
